First big fish of his lifetime.  Way to GO.

Bob and brother Fred III along with the family have been friends and clients of Tanaku Lodge for over 25 years.  As I mentioned before we had a celebration of life for their dad Fred Erdtiseck Jr. this last week.  Obviously dad did a good job teaching the kids and grandkids how to fish.  We appreciate their friendship and business.

Bob caught this 12o pound halibut and dedicated it to his dad. They have caught many halibut over the years in the 100, 200, and 300 pound range.  They know how to hook them fish. 

Fred Erdtsieck Jr. was a long time guest and friend of Tanaku Lodge.  Fred passed away a few weeks ago.  We spread his ashes in his favorite fishing hole " The Erdtsieck Crack".  We had a nice service here at the lodge.  His two sons Fred III and Bob were here to celebrate his life with the crew and friends.

Fred caught a nice halibut weighing in at 100 pounds. 

Norm Nilsen landed this 103 pound halibut today.  GREAT JOB.
